Care that empowers

At The Care Advantage, we’re all about empowering people to feel confident and comfortable in their own home. It’s not enough to drop in and offer a helping hand around the house or with personal care, we build strong relationships based on trust to help people maintain their independence.

A big part of care is understanding the stress and pressure that families face when a loved one needs extra support. At The Care Advantage, we focus on both the mental and physical wellbeing of the client and their support network.

What makes us different

When it comes to home care, nothing matters more than the person being cared for. That means working together in a collaborative and open way to promote you or your loved one’s well being at all times.

Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or a loved one, we understand that care is more than a service. It’s a relationship with someone you can rely on, and who you feel comfortable having in your home.

Our founders bring a unique perspective to care, combining a wealth of business experience with their natural compassion and empathy. That means we understand how to put your loved one at the heart of everything we do to deliver personal, friendly services that are also seamless and efficient.

Our process

Arranging care for yourself or your loved one couldn’t be easier. It’s important to get to know your care provider to make sure you find the right fit, and you can do that from the comfort of your own home.

Initial assessment

  1. Call us to arrange a meeting at the home where the care will take place
  2. We’ll answer your questions and listen to your care needs
  3. Together, we’ll put together a personalised care plan:
    a. What are the needs and wishes of the person receiving care?
    b. How often would you like us to visit?
  4. We check the home environment is safe and recommend steps to reduce hazards

Starting care

  1. We’ll send you the care plan and clear costs to approve with no obligation
  2. Get in touch to confirm care
  3. If you change your mind about any aspect of care, let us know so we can update the care plan
  4. We can start visiting right away.

We always have you and your loved one’s best interests in heart, and that relies on open and honest communication. We want you to feel confident that you can let us know any feedback from your loved one and if their needs change.

Testimonials

“Being a carer is like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. You end up loving each and every client as though they’re family.. If I had loved ones who needed care then that’s exactly what I’d want for my family.”

Chrissy, Carer

“Accepting care isn’t easy but it doesn’t take away from who you are.”

Pauline

“Mum now considers the TCA team as family. They visit or give her a call just to check on her, mum is the happiest I’ve ever seen her.”
